Janmashtami Celebration
Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna was celebrated in New Green Field School, saket with great devotion and enthusiasm. The premise was decorated with beautiful swing with ‘Baal Gopal’ flowers, makhan handi and peacock feathers. The students of pre-primary classes came traditionally dressed up as Radha and Krishna. A splendidly colourful cultural programme was organised by the children. They presented song, dance and short role plays. Ms Madhvi, the headmistress of the school, while addressing the students, spoke about the significance of the day influencing them to adopt a noble character.
