Children's day celebration
This day commemorates the Birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru adorably remembered as Chacha Nehru.
He believed that children are the future of the country and strong foundation of the society.
Each child is special and gifted. It is imperative to recognize and appreciate their talents and achievements.
Children's day celebrations in NGFS Saket began with the Morning Prayer followed by prize distribution ceremony as our students participated in Zenith Annual Inter–School Mega Event conducted in NGFS Alaknanda and won the overall best performer's trophy.
Our basketball team participated in Gaytree Devi Memorial Basketball Tournament which was Hosted by GD Goenka School and our senior team won the competition and they received the winner's trophy and certificates.
Furthermore our junior Basketball Team received the Runner's up trophy.
Student's efforts were applauded as the trophies were handed over to the winners by Principal ma'am.
Prize distribution ceremony was followed by Cultural programme. Singing and dance performances were cheered on and enjoyed by all the students. Our tiny tots won everyone's hearts with their lovely performance.
Furthermore, on the spot painting competition was also held in school premises to encourage students to showcase their creativity.
The day was commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence.
