CEREBRO QUAKE 2022-23

''If you have knowledge, let others light their candles in it". An exciting Inter-School Quiz competition CEREBRO QUAKE was held on 10th November, 2022 to boost the general knowledge on a variety of Genres like current affairs, science, technology, art, entertainment, sports, literature mythology etc.

This Quiz is conducted in the memory of Late Shri Hari Krishan Sharma who was the founder of New Green field Educational institution. He realised the value and potential of what a good education and training could do to young minds.

Cerebro Quake was an initiative by our former Chairperson Smt Ved Kumari. Without her support, it would have not been possible to conduct it for 11 years.  

Students from 20 schools participated with great vigour.  Each team has 2 participants.

Quiz was started with Lighting of lamp, followed by elimination round, 8 teams out of 20 were selected in elimination round. 4 teams competed with one another in Prelim Round 1 and rest 4 teams competed in Prelim Round 2. Teams eliminated in 1st round were given a chance to be in the quiz again in Wild card round. In the end, 5 teams competed with each other in the Final round.

 All the students were at the edge of their seats to know the answers and it was nail biting competition. The questions put forth to the teams were intriguing and exciting.This quiz truly was a learning experience, for everyone who attended. St. Mary's school was declared the winner of the Cerebro Quake 2022, Quiz competition. They received Winner's Trophy along with a cash prize of Rs.2500/-, certificates and books for each participant. Gyan Bharti school secured First Runners up position with cash prize of Rs1500/- for each participant along with certificates and books. Kalka Public school bagged the Second Runners Up position and was awarded certificates, books and cash prize of Rs 1000/- for each participant.
